"Great corner room (2005). But no fridge.
The check-in gal was great but the check-out guy has zero hospitality....no greeting, no thank you ....nothing for gracious representation of hospitality industry worker."

2/10 Terrible
"I booked a King suite and paid extra money. I needed the larger countertop space in the bathroom . When I arrived, they said that someone was in that room and for some reason it did not show it on hotels.com that the room was taken. I asked at least two or three times as long as the other room that you put me in has a large countertop space he kept telling me oh yes, they all have that large counter countertop. It did not. Then they would not give me back the price difference.
In the morning, I tried to speak with a manager and she was cold and rude, argumentative & acted like it was my problem, not hers and said well here here’s the number to corporate.

"We had a very disappointing stay at 21c Museum Hotel St. Louis.
The air conditioning in our room was not working at all, and the room phone was also not working. Because of this, I had to use my personal cell phone to call the front desk multiple times. After several calls, a technician came to the room, but he was not able to fix the AC, even after contacting the chief engineer.
We requested to move to another room, but the front desk told us no rooms were available. However, at the same time, I saw other guests continuing to check in at the front desk, which made the situation very frustrating from a guest perspective.
That night was terrible. The room was extremely hot, and because there was no working AC, I had to leave the room door open to let cooler hallway air into the room. This created a serious privacy issue because people walking by could see directly into our room. My family could not rest properly.
The hotel later offered a $100 dining credit, but I did not accept or use it. For a stay that cost more than $600, and for a room that failed to provide basic expectations like working AC, a working phone, privacy, and proper rest, that offer was not an appropriate resolution.
Overall, this was an unacceptable experience for a hotel at this price level. I would not recommend staying here based on my experience."
