"We had 2 rooms and they were kind enough to give us adjoining rooms, as we had 4 kids with us. We go there just after we could have had drinks and snacks. The breakfast was very good, lots of options. As this is downtown the building is old but they have kept it up very well. We were on the 6th floor and being almost 6' tall the hallways were maybe 6'6", so not as spacious as new hotels. But our room was nice and clean. We didn't feel that the a/c got as cool as we would have liked it, as my husband likes 68 degrees. We would stay here again!"
Clayton Plaza Hotel & Extended Stay

"It was last minute stay for me and the family. The staff lady was extremely helpful and great. But the room bathroom was nasty and had hairs all over the bathroom shower and in the bathroom sink. The shower head wouldn’t switch over and I couldn’t get the water temp to my desired liking after having to clean it. The remote to the tv didn’t work but only cut the tv on. We were so tired and just over traveling down the road, we didn’t even want to switch rooms. Wasn’t able to bring our breakfast to the room for our convenience. But the staff was lovely and the area was nice as well. Just need to be updated on their appliances for better use and cleaned properly."

"The free breakfast was excellent. Good food and plenty of options for everyone. The complementary drinks/sodas/nachos bar every evening was an unexpected surprise. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the hot tub felt wonderful after a long day. The room was nice, but the bathroom was smaller than expected and didnt have an exhaust fan so the ceiling was peeling from all the moisture.. The bathroom is really my only complaint."

"Terrible experience. Pools and hot tubs are small and overcrowded. They state in the advertisement that pools are heated…they are not. It was concerning to me as well that there is no lifeguard on duty at any of the pools…and parents were not watching their kids. Very dangerous. We paid extra for a hot tub…it was disgusting. There was black mold all over the place on the tub and coming out of the jets, a piece was broken off the tub… and the bottom of the tub was dark grey with a yellow substance that it looked like they were covering a hole or something. It was like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. We had to wear flip flops in the tub it was so disgusting. We could not even use it. (See pics below). At the end of the stay we were responsible for removing the sheets, placing the towels in the tub. Basically cleaning the room. I have never stayed at a “resort” where you were responsible for getting your replacement towels and toilet paper. You had to go to a little hut for this. No daily maid service. Then at the end of the trip you were responsible for taking out your own trash. The entire trip I kept getting calls hounding me to be a part of the Stillwater’s Family which is basically a timeshare. Overall, not a good place to stay. We were not impressed."

"The rooms and hotel areas were clean and staff pleasant. The breakfast was above average and dining staff wonderful. The cost of the room was reasonable. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to Branson."

"The room was okay, not updated. One of the staff members was unhelpful, but the next day someone else helped us and he was great! It smelled like smoke in the hallways, despite it being a non-smoking hotel"
