"Never got to stay because my flight was delayed with the weather. The plane was re-routed to Charlotte overnight. The staff was not helpful in refunding. I contacted Expedia and mentioned my mother had recently died, reason for my trip. The motel still would not refund because check in was at 3:00pm and I called at 7:30pm with information regarding weather and flight changes beyond my control. Stinks that I couldn't get a refund"

"The room was freezing cold for about a half hour when we got there but the heater worked well and eventually it warmed up. Room was large and clean. Parking was right in front of room. Wish the room had a full length mirror. People travel when they have an event to go to and we like to see how we look. The bathroom mirror sort of tilts down for a bit of an outfit check but a full length would have been great. Bed was comfortable and bedding was really nice! Guy who runs the place was very nice!...

"Everything was great for the most part. My boyfriend and I stayed there for a night and tried the pool. It was fantastic, although the hot tub wasn’t available. The staff was great when we checked in, but the ones who were there when we left were a bit rude. I don’t really mind that, though. The breakfast was okay. "The room was very affordable. I enjoyed that the window opened as I love fresh air. The breakfast was not very good- low quality bagels and yogurts and a waffle machine. The coffee in the machine was good. There was a very strong smell of marijuana in the lobby/ breakfast area when I was eating yesterday."

"The location was very convenient, which is why we booked here since it was the closest option to Legoland. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was disappointing. The linens did not seem properly maintained, the sofa bed sheets had hair on them, and the main bed sheets had visible stains. The room felt unclean overall, which made the stay uncomfortable. We expected a much higher standard of cleanliness from a Marriott hotel."
