"Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant duties."

"An amazing, interesting house which you will love, especially if you have a sense of history, and enjoy staying in a place that is different from all the rest. Our room was clean, cosy and warm with a lovely view of the garden and of the countryside. The breakfast looked and tasted very good. "The property was spotless, location was perfect, walkable to shops, town etc. street parking we had no issues but might be issues during busy season. Took a minute but figured out the heating, clearer directions would have sorted this out. We were a family of 6 and the property was perfect for us. Kitchen very well equipped, washing machine, had fire place as well. The beds were super cozy. We stayed 3 nights was perfect location to explore the local area. "
