"This is a very friendly small hotel we used when walking part of the Anglesey coast path. Our room was clean. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was excellent. The owner was very helpful giving us information about our walk. We will come back."

"We stayed for 2 nights - 1st and 2nd of August in room 30.......it was a last minute getaway and I did a brief review of the hotel, location facilities etc before paying. What a fantastic place, amazing character ....... it's Wales oldest pub.... 500+ years but it has all of the modern amenities...... the bathroom in room 30 looks like it was installed yesterday...... very modern and in perfect working order. "Lovely staff and excellent location. Rooms look as though they have been recently refurbished. Cold breakfast selection not as good as it used to be but good variety of cooked breakfasts on offer. I found the restaurant very cold in the evening but fine in the morning. Plenty of supplies in the room, tea, coffee, water, biscuits and toiletries etc."

"Only spent one night, but room was wonderful. Even with the heat wave, the room was cool, and they had a fan in the room. Large clean room, big bathroom and clean. Wonderful restaurant and bar. Great breakfast. Only 7-10 minute walk to all the shops, beach and promenade. Wish I could have stayed longer. Everyone there was super nice."
