"Issues with reservation. Wrong room and rude staff. Only after complaining got some help"

"We had a wonderful stay! Check-in and check-out were super quick and easy. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The location is also super convenient, ShopRite, Starbucks, and many other places are right across the street. Highly recommend!"

Pillows are ancient, yet mattress seems reasonable… breakfast very limited but in a clean dining area… bar seems to be in the old-school sports bar-with-character style. And Liberty itself has seen better days too. Overall, a peculiar mix of fine and “needs improvement”, but probably the best hotel in the immediate area."

"The property was pretty but there were no instructions, no maps, and no explanations as to what the property had to offer when we got there. The pool was pretty dirty as well. Hopefully that will be cleaned soon and hoping for more often."

"If you are allergic to a cat, there is a lot of cats… I booked through Expedia. Upon arrival, the front desk couldn’t find my reservation and insisted on creating a new one with my card. After much insistence, they located it but had no room ready, forcing me to wait. Placed in a room with a strong urine smell (likely dog) in the bathroom. No room number signs in the hallway, and the same odor was in the main first-floor bathroom. No Wi-Fi password provided. Breakfast was okay. Photos on Expedia...

"The owner is nice as can be, but unfortunately I have to be honest in this review- My night there was not pleasant by any means. Parking was a bit of an issue as the bar/restaurant loaded the parking lot and then there were cones out on the far end of the parking area which really made it hard to park. Front door to the room didn't entirely shut which allowed flying bugs into the room all night. There were gnats or something all over the room- on the pillow, on the bed, in the bathroom. ...

"Stayed two nights with my small dog, and we had a great time unwinding in the Catskills. Staff was excellent and tended to our needs. Wonderful to have a brewery, restaurant and Saturday night music on the property. Not a fancy place, but we were comfortable and got some much-needed rest. They even packed up dinner and a couple of beers so I could eat in the room with my dog."

"Best Western at Hunt's Landing in Matamoras Pennsylvania is located at a very convenient spot to major highways and County roads. The hotel is very well maintained with two restaurants within the property which offer high end and casual dining. The rooms were comfortable and clean with only minor maintenance required in the room for one or two items. There is a complimentary breakfast which was very nicely presented and tasty. "Hotel was a little dated, our room was nice but the bathroom needs updating. The room must not have been used for a while (4th floor Rm 405) when we turned on the water in the sink, it gurgled and came out black... It turned to clear water after a couple of seconds... Not a good way to start, but the room was nice, bed was comfortable."

"Perfectly located near the tri-state border, this was a great place to stay while exploring the Delaware River Gap and visiting nearby restaurants and breweries. Owners were helpful and the room was comfortable and well-maintained. Would stay again in the area."

"The bar/restaurant downstairs had a good selection of liquor, but the kitchen was closed by the time I got there. I was able to grab a drink & sit on the porch. The room was great, the staff was friendly - would definitely consider this for a trip to Milford or the Delaware Water Gap or surrounding areas."

"Renovations look great! Excellent value for the price. The manager, Melanie, was wonderful and very accommodating. This is definitely our favorite place to stay in the area — we’ll be back every time!"
