"This was my first trip to Nantucket and probably my last. I found the hotel to be nothing special. The garden grounds were not neat and were filled with leaves. No one came to clean the room on our first day there, even though the cleaning staff was in the next room when we left for the day. I finally had to text them late in the afternoon to have someone clean the room. We couldn't find the hotel shuttle when we came in on the ferry, as they assured me they would be a van waiting. "We had a fabulous stay here! The staff was absolutely amazing with a special shout out to Omelia for being so good to us! The breakfast was perfect, we rented bikes and beach chairs complimentary from the front desk and a man was able to help with luggage up and down the stairs. There is a bar and restaurant below “The Tap Room” which made for a very convenient and entertaining end of the night cocktail. Greg and Megan were great bartenders! "We enjoyed the charm of the inn. Each room had a uniqueness. The staff was very accommodating during all of our interactions. We took stars away because the self service coffee station was not maintained very well. There were shortages of items and at time it wasn’t always clean. Breakfast was not put until 8am which is late if you want to get an early start. Brewed coffee wasn’t available until 8 am either. Earlier than that time, there were only k-cups. The deck is only staffed until 8 pm...

"Our stay at Martin House was wonderful! The house is a mixture of antique charm and contemporary decor. Our room was very homey and comfortable. Our bed was devine with beautiful linens and the best pillows ever! We had a lovely breakfast every morning, hard boiled eggs, pastries, yogurt and fresh fruit. Coffee and tea as well as juice. The absolute best part was we could walk everywhere. We loved our stay at Martin House!"

"We were booked in a queen suite in the Chapman House on the 3rd floor. Room was over $500 a night and the room was probably no larger than 8x10 sq ft but the bathroom was larger and was OK. From the green floor there are 2 flights of stairs to the 3rd floor for a total of 27 steps. If you’re not in good shape, forget it. Breakfast in the morning was great with a wonderful selection of food. Breakfast is served next door at the Verander. So it’s up and down the stairs for breakfast. No...

"So enjoyed our stay at the ever-so-charming Blue Iris in Nantucket! Needed a bit of help before we even arrived and were taken care of perfectly. We were always greeted by friendly staff coming and going from the house. We stayed in room #5, which was so cute and private. The room was small, but comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of space for 2. We even decided to spend a little extra time there in the afternoons because we liked it so much. "We were four generations checking in and our grandkids had just arrived from Kenya and we're not feeling great. They were very warmly welcomed and they loved the endless hit chocolate and fresh baked cookies at 5 PM every day. Sharon and Anne Marie were kind, helpful and so sweet to all of us. Sharon helped my 89 year old Mom fund a great history tour that picked her up at the hotel. Having Children's Beach and Playground two blocks away was great. Several us really enjoyed the next door...
