"Super helpful staff on reception. We arrived early following the close of our cruise at 9.15am and managed to source our three rooms early, provided us with a complimentary coffee and croissant and also showed some playful humour.

"Great location and friendly staff! Very close to nice restaurants and walking distance to Rome center. The room was comfortable and amenities were available. The staff was wonderful and arranged taxis and transfers for us. Only thing we would have wanted is a bigger room - we had the suite with sofa bed. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay!"

"We loved our stay at the Hotel San Francesco. The entire staff was incredibly gracious and helpful. Liz at reception gave us great recommendations, we enjoyed chatting with her. Smiley truly lives up to her name, lovely and helpful.
We enjoyed apperitivos at the rooftop lounge and were never disappointed with the food, drinks and service. We appreciated that they offer breakfast since most of our party prefers having a nutritious full breakfast before getting those 10k steps a day.

"Things started out a little dicey but ended really well. Our first night we were put into a room that didn't have a working A/C. We were already looking into other nearby hotels but it was late so we stuck it out with a fan provided by the hotel. The next day, the hotel moved us into a comparable room with A/C and it was all great from then on. The room was comfortable, service was attentive, and we enjoyed the rest of our stay."

"I’ve traveled to Rome, many times. I’ve been looking for the perfect hotel and finally, I have found it.
It’s charming, warm, low key elegant and with staff for extremely thoughtful and always attentive.
The food was lovely, including a buffet breakfast every morning. They serve croissants that were as close to French croissants as I have ever found in Italy.
The location is perfect. It sits around a beautiful private garden. Yet you were only minutes walk from lovely cafés.
