"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Rival. It is conveniently located with the train station only a 5 minute walk from the hotel which then takes you to the City Center. it is about a 15 minute walk to the Old Town where there is a variety of restaurants and stores. There is a lovely park in front and it was wonderful to sit there and enjoy the Swedish tradition of Fika- drinking our coffee and having our pastry after a long day of exploring Stockholm. "The hotel is located in a suburb of Stockholm easily reached by the efficient and cheap public transport ( we purchased a 7 day pass which covered all train, trams, buses and water ferries around Stockholm). From the beginning to the end the staff especially on reception were lovely. Rooms clean and good size. "The location is perfect for walking everywhere. The hotel itself is interesting because it seems to be made up of many other buildings joined together. Lots of nooks and crannies. The breakfast buffet is pretty amazing! The one negative thing is the shower glass wall doesn’t meet the floor so water runs out into the bathroom. A small flaw but irritating nonetheless. I would stay here again "

"Otroligt bra service! Allt var jättebra, fick checka in tidigare. Supersmidigt med parkeringshus under hotellet och hiss direkt upp, perfekt. Föreställning på cirkus på kvällen inkl. middag i cirkus restaurang. Nära och bekvämt till hotellet efter showen. Det ända att anmärka på var att det var lite lyhört på rummen samt att det var lite trögt för vattnet att rinna ner i duschen. "

"The owner was so kind to us, helping give us recommendations for activities, and preparing the room for us. Breakfast was fresh and filling every morning, and the hotel was a great quiet space to get rest after a long day of traveling. Loved it here!"
