"The location is beautiful, property has a great ocean view, and it is walkable to Capitola. Amazing to see the Monarch butterflies that they help to raise there. The staff was very nice and accommodating. However, This property needs to be maintained better. The grounds ( paths, trees, deck) had not been taken care of in some time. Poison oak, spider webs, dirty chairs/tables where we were to have breakfast. Our room was even less inviting. Steps to second floor are steep, not easy to...

"Very friendly staff all around! Great breakfast included with a fantastic view. Each room is unique so don't count on an ocean view. No A/C or ceiling fans in room; can get warm during the day. Walking distance to Cannery Row and the Aquarium. On a hill so steps are involved / maybe not good for people with mobility issues. Overall great little Inn!"

"Loved this little b and b. Everything was easy, quaint, clean. Our host was so helpful and nice. She prepared happy hour and chocolate chip cookies each night. We will definitely be back. We had dinner at Mezzaluna and Zum Sushi and loved them both! "
