"A lovely property, an outrageously beautiful location. The amenities are amazing... wine wall with a few complimentary glasses per room was an unexpected treat.
The pool is great but loses sun exposure pretty early this time of year. The hot tub was not working properly (no jets and the heater had failed).
On the con side: my sister and I were traveling together with our school age children and requested adjoining/adjacent rooms and when we arrived at 1:30 pm, we were told that we were getting adjacent rooms that would be ready in 45 minutes. 2 hours later when we attempted to check in, we were told that our rooms were not only not ready but that we wouldn't even be on the same floor, very surprising and frustrating. We reiterated our room request and ended up waiting for some time again. We were not given our rooms until after 5pm. My sister was forced to request a roll away bed due to her room only having one King bed and not the two Queens that she requested. We had to ask for the roll away three times and it wasn't brought to her until 9pm.
The hotel and amenities are lovely but I think that the staff are either inexperienced, lack communication between shifts, aren't given clear instruction etc...
We will definitely stay here again but we will cross our fingers for a more organized check-in/check-out experience. for what its worth, we checked out 36 hours ago and our accounts still are not closed at the hotel and my Expedia account has not been credited my OneKey "
