"There is no air conditioning in the rooms. Even though we knew it, we did know it would get so stuffy in the middle of the night. So we did not get a good night's sleep. After we open the fan and the patio door for the 2nd night, it was much better.

"Our stay was okay overall. The location was very convenient, with most of the main attractions only about 5 to 7 minutes away, and the morning breakfast was great.
However, the cleanliness of the hotel was disappointing. There was mold in our shower, and the bathroom did not have an air vent for proper circulation, so we had to open the window just to get some airflow. The rugs also had a bad odor. During our stay, only 2 out of the 3 elevators were working, which caused longer waits at times....

"The property was small but convenient to stay for few days. The staff are friendly and answered my questions. The room was clean and they have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion too. Which is really nice! They even have keurig for coffee! They also clean our room without us asking for it. The only thing was we can hear people from outside and upstairs. Overall it was really good place to stay in. Will stay here when I visit Carmel again. Everything was so close here!"

The room was very clean and beautiful. I really enjoyed walking into the lobby and hearing live piano and vocals! That was one of my favorite parts. They had a sound machine in the room that had multiple settings. We listened to the “brook” setting all night, which helped us to sleep better. They had refillable water bottles at no extra cost. They have multiple restaurants on the premises, which were also very good.
