"Front desk staff and breakfast were very friendly and welcoming. Hotel is under renovation but was clean and location is excellent for accessing downtown. "
"Check-in was a breeze. Staff very efficient and friendly. Room was fine....except the water pressure in the shower, and the bathroom door. The door to the bathroom is a frosted glass slider door and when you move it, the glass rattles. I was afraid we were being too noisy for our neighbors, but there was no way around it. Other than that, there were plenty of outlets for charging devices, room was clean. Breakfast had the basics: sausage patties, baby quiches, oatmeal, cold cereal, pastries, some fruits. Didn't notice yogurt, but didn't look for it this time. Coffee and juices. Parking was great, just outside the door. It appears to be a newer property. Location was great. We were in Midway and Versailles, and it wasn't very far. Even if it was, it's a pretty area."
"The dishwasher in our room had something spilled on the front of it that was not cleaned.
I arrived early at 2pm and stood at the desk for about 10 minutes while the attendant sat at a table looking at his phone before he noticed me. Then, could not do an early check in, even though it was only an hour before. When I returned after 3pm to check in there were 3 people ahead of me waiting. Seemed like they were not very efficient. "
"Aside from the noise—trains and rooms not sound proceed or well insulated, the hotel is very nice and quite comfortable with welcoming staff and excellent restaurant for dinner only."
"We ended up turning tail and leaving before our sty. The entire place looked manky and deserted; couldn't even locate an office. In the middle of nowhere; the advertised cafe was closed and for sale. We are two older ladies traveling alone and were afraid to stay there."

Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Monterey. Holiday rentals provide amenities such as hot tubs, fire pits and patios so you'll have all the conveniences of home. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can offer a sense of safety away from public hotel lifts and busy concierge desks while still allowing you the excitement and enjoyment of travel.
