"We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Lodge! Not only was the view amazing from every angle including our balcony, but also the service was OUTSTANDING! Everyone was so kind. And the restaurant food was to die for!! Best filet mignon I've ever had - not kidding! Mr. Howard at the restaurant was also wonderful, as well as the waiters, including Enrique. What a lovely experience. We'll definitely be staying there when we visit CR again without a doubt!!"

I walked almost everywhere, from the cloud forest to a coffee farm (Café La Bella Tica, highly recommended), to the downtown Santa Elena area. I like walking, so the location was fine for me (I averaged about 10.5 miles per day). They have one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. It starts with fresh fruit (banana, pineapple and guava), and then you have a choice of 4 options: a traditional Costa Rican...

"Rancho de Lelo Ecolodge is a family owned small lodge, located about 20 minutes from the main area of Monte Verde. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with this charming family. The National Park is only 10-15 minutes drive. The farm to table cuisine was awesome. Highly recommended. "

"The property was huge with a beautiful view of sky and town ,my only problem was the lack of communication between the front desk and the restaurant on premise. And that my check out was at 12pm but they told me no its at 11 am. "

"We absolutely LOVED this place! My kids said it’s hands down the best place we’ve ever stayed. The treehouse is magical, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the staff super friendly and helpful, the kitchen perfectly appointed. I couldn’t speak higher of this perfect spot. Even walkable to town (sidewalk the whole way) although a bit far with young kids. And the local store just around the corner had everything we needed. The trail around the property we walked multiple times and all enjoyed....

"Hands down one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had in my life. The tiny house was clean, wonderfully decorated. It included snacks and some small gifts that made the stay even more special. The bed and linens were amazingly comfortable. It was wonderful to sit outside in the hot tub or inside by the fire. I can’t recommend this place enough. "
