"When we first arrived at 330 pm, they said that check in is at 4 pm and my room was not ready. Then 4pm, I asked if my room was ready, but they had to send someone to check it out. So, they were not ready, meanwhile a guest had to tell them that the room assigned to them had occupants in the room. Another guest had to get their keycard reactivated because it only covered for one day, even though they had a few days left.
Already not starting out well, finally get our room. They are no TVs in the room. We did not care, but some people may. The dining experience was so slow, it took almost an hour before they even took our orders for dinner. The wait staff, did not look happy and you can tell there is tension among the staff.
Our keycards only covered one night instead of two, so we had to reactivate them. These people just did not have their act together. Do not expect good customer service.
My husband spent almost $300 for a tour company to show us Mesa Verde and the cliff palace tour. Honestly, just drive yourself and site see. You do have to make a reservation to go down to Cliff Palace with a ranger at recreation.gov. That would have been way cheaper.
After all that I wrote, Mese Verde is beautiful, you can view many dwellings, on your own, but to go down and see them, you need to make reservations at recreation.gov."
