"Whilst the infrastructure and location were classic Tuscany, the hospitality (staff engagement & food) were underwhelming. It never felt welcoming & it was challenging to discern who were the owners, staff or guests. It was often unclear how their systems operated, ie how to purchase wine/drinks, when dinner or breakfast would be available & the service was extremely slow. "A wonderful experience in the heart of Montepulciano. Roberto was really helpful and accommodating, as we were traveling with my 99 year old mother. We stayed in a newly renovated room which was quite modern and clean with excellent spaces for clothes and toiletries which I appreciated! "Purtroppo la camera non era pulita (doccia sporca e capelli ovunque), pareti in bagno con la muffa, vetri finestra praticamente bianchi (colature non ben precisate) e manutenzione della camera lasciava molto a desiderare. Oltretutto hanno cercato di verniciare la stanza ma hanno verniciato talmente male da verniciare anche le porte, le luci e accessori vari. Non sono abituato a dare recensioni negative ma qui c’è poco da salvare...carico qualche foto per meglio comprendere"

"We had a very relaxing week-end there, enjoying the pool and the stunning views of Montepulciano and Monte Amiata. The restaurant is a stand out! We dined under the trees and loved the menu which is interesting, both traditional and creative…well executed and presented. The staff was attentive and professional. All for a very fair price! Would gladly go back! PS: awesome friendly cats around the property…for cat lovers!"
