"Lovely little property in the heart of rural Scotland: however, the property hadn't been cleaned or the beds changed prior to our arrival! We contacted the owner who informed us a cleaner would be with us by 10am the following day. We arrived at the property at 8pm on a Sunday night, after a five hour drive and spent the next two hours cleaning the kitchen and bathroom but still had no beds to sleep in so the sofa had to do for the first night. "This place was perfect for our trip. It was kitted out with everything you'd imagine needing. The location was excellent, within easy reach of the city centre and Duthie Park on the doorstep. "Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

"It was a nice enough place but would have liked to known it was on the top floor of the whole building. We had no communication on how to actually get in the building and with the check in etc so had to phone the owner themselves which took time and would have been helpful to have all of the info in an email. There was also no soap to wash our hands with which isn’t great after covid and all… also please note you have to pay for street parking which is expensive in my opinion "
