"The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!"

"Smaller resort, which was actually nice b/c it is more relaxing. Gorgeous pool area. We stayed in an over-water bungalow, which was spacious and lovely. The only complaint I would say is it would have been nice to have a chair. Like just a regular chair to sit in. There wasn't one in the room or on the deck (only lounge chairs). Got a free bottle of sparkling wine delivered to our room, which was a nice surprise. Food was outrageously expensive, which I expected, but what I did not expect is...

"Excellent view, Beautiful black sand beach had quite a bit of trash on it, Food was ok, pool definitely needs repair but was functional, Faucet in bathroom was completely loose from the sink the flush button on the toilet was broken Lots of chickens crowing very early in the am There was a used condom in the couch. Staff was friendly Over all I would not recommend staying here until upgrades are made. The property appears underfunded for repairs and maintenance"

"The property and staff are as expected. We enjoyed our time here. My only dissapointment is that when the airline delivered our lost luggage to the hotel they failed to notify us it was in their storage. There it stayed untill we tracked it down just before our departure."

"This is a beautiful resort, but a large one, so it can be a hike to some things, depending on where your room is. There are 2 pools so one or the other will be most convenient depending on room location. Four different restaurants, so it's a nice variety, which is good considering you are captive here as there are no restaurants (or anything) in walking distance. The pool areas were absolutely gorgeous! I loved that there is also a saltwater lagoon that you can snorkel in since there isn't...
