"The suite was gorgeous, spacious and pristine. The shower was great! Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast served each morning looking at the deep blue sea. What more can you ask for? Location is about halfway between Fira, Oia and the Port. Taxis aren't cheap in Santorini no matter how you slice it (20-30 Eu each ride). "

There are lots of hotels within walking distance (good shoes are recommended as many are up the walking path which you may have to do in the dark). Tasos tavern is the closest and offers authentic Greek cuisine and a welcoming owner.
