"Nice for what we needed"

"The Boiling Springs, PA location is East Coast Americana at its vest, and the Allenbey property along the river is just a gem. Well maintained, pleasant staff, and a ton of amenities spread across a mix of restored pre civil war buildings abd bew room additions. Their ace attraction is a stretch of fly fishing perfect water on property right below a small dam that offers protected and stocked trout fly fishing year round. Heaven on earth."

"The room was spacious and nice. Very clean and quiet. The beds were quite comfortable. Fridge was nice and cold. Nice property. Easy access. Pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast area very clean, plenty of room, good food, nice variety of choices."

"Great motel, very clean and modern, and with an excellent staff. The hot breakfast and coffee really hit the spot. My only negative is that I was serenaded by all night by a symphony of semis traveling on the interstate nearby. But, after I got used to the traffic noise, it was OK. I still slept well."

"Located in Carlisle off I-81. Good and bad. Easy to find. Restaurants near by. Extreme traffic noise 24/7. Big trucks racing by all night. Since the exit is right there, trucks use their loud engine brakes to slow down. The hotel advertises breakfast, but a bird couldn't survive on what they offer. The coffee was good though."

"Toilet did not flush properly."

"We liked the suite we stayed in. The access into the hotel was limited to just the main lobby. It was a little inconvenient when we let our dog out to have to walk around the building to get back in. Also, we were charged the full room rate, even though I booked through Expedia and had rewards that should have been apples."

"The staff was really friendly. I checked in around 10 PM, once I checked in I could tell that it was heavily populated with residence not just people passing through, which is fine and expected at a motel, but our room freaked like cigarettes. The beds were both wet, and everybody was itchy so I believe they may have been fleas as well."

"When you approach it, it is hidden. You have to drive through a torn up and derelict property to reach it. My friend referred it to a burned out ghetto and didn't want to stay. I missed the cancelation date so we stayed. The building needed maintenance on the outside. Inside you were welcomed by friendly staff, new carpet and fresh paint. The room was sparce with mismatched furniture. The hvac worked great."
