"We booked at the last second with the Howard Johnson after the Hilton canceled our reservation without notice and left us without a hotel room after an 11 hour drive.
The staff at the Howard Johnson were extremely friendly and accommodating and very responsive to any requests. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It's a little older facility than we'd typically book but we have zero complaints with anything regarding this property or its staff.
The continental breakfast was...

"Our room was extremely tired and the bedding was poor. There were stains on the carpet so I walked around with my shoes on. The whole place (except the main entry and dining room) need a fresh coat of paint. I am not going to return. The breakfast was excellent though and the waitstaff were great. Too bad about the rooms!"
