"Location is good, opposite is the ski resort, which has good snow. Overall room was well maintained, public Onsen was nice too. However we came during early ski season, there is barely any restaurants opens. Hotel cafe food is a bit expensive, and not much choice (mainly western). If plan to stay may order half board instead, or tell hotel staff to reserve dinner before 10am"

Food was ample and tasty (traditional Japanese foods) and served in the privacy of the room. Pillows are traditional Japanese style (small and somewhat hard) so I would recommend bringing your own pillow if you prefer a larger and softer pillow.
