"For the price I’d say they exceeded expectations. You are staying at a budget hotel and as such you shouldn’t expect the world. But their setup was fine for me and the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. I would stay again."

"Not soundproofed rooms like it says. Room was next to the lift, could hear the lift moving up and down quite loudly, certainly enough to keep me awake. Noise from outside could also be heard a lot. I’ve stayed in quite a few places in Brisbane WITH soundproof and this definitely wasn’t. Room was ok, dated but I expected that. Breakfast very good and nice view but that’s all I have positive about this place. "

"I never saw a staff member in my stay, and l guess the keyless, staffless thing was on me. I had no idea ,but next visit l will be prepared for it. It was probably in my emails . But l had booked six different locations and didn't realise til l arrived there was no manned reception My room was clean and tidy. "

"This was the best price we could find on the Southbank. We knew we would hardly be there , so weren’t looking for luxury. It seemed kind of sketchy when we first arrived, and I had my doubts. However, the linens were clean, it was very walkable to all the fun locations we wanted to see, it was great to do a quick load of laundry, and the staff was very nice. A good place for passing through. "

"+ Helpful friendly staff, tv broke the receptionist fixed it in 3 mins, very comfy beds in an ample sized room, breakfast was continental or Full English so enough choices. - Sadly we had zero view of anything we were on floor 1 right next to the lifts, a bare dirty patio that’s not been swept for a good while! The whole hotel needs brightening up, very dark wood interiors etc but it’s biggest drawback is that it’s a long way from any bars, restaurants of Brisbane so no nightlife to speak of....

"We have stayed at this hotel many many times before and find the beds very comfortable and generally the rooms are decent. This time the room was in dire need of an upgrade. It did appear clean but there was a lot of mould in the grout and on the tiles. We also had 2 cars with us and they wanted to charge us $22 for the first car park and $37 for the second. The carpark was half empty. The pool has lots of mould in the tiles and there was a couple of broken ones laying around. We normally find...
