"I have traveled to Bologna on quite a few occasions over the past 40 years....and this is the one place I can't imagine not staying at next time I visit. Historic building, beautiful views, lovely accommodations, wonderfully located, delicious breakfast - and most of all, a truly special host. One caveat, there are stairs (though the owner will take care of baggage), so if you are mobility restricted, you would need to take that into consideration."

"Wir sind für eine Nacht im Dopa Hostel geblieben, da uns bei der Auswahl schon die zentrale Lage in der Altstadt gefallen hat. Dort angekommen wird man sofort freundlich empfangen. Das Personal ist überaus hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer und die Räumlichkeiten überhaupt sind liebevoll gestaltet mit unzähligen Details. We never met anyone in person, but it was fine because we received quick and detailed responses to any questions we had.
