"Underwhelming check in at the reception. Staffs are not friendly. Upon going in the room, I call the desk for a potential upgrade as someone message me if I wanted to upgrade for extra cost to have a view of the Sagrada which I accepted and happy to pay for. The receptionist laughed at me, did try to explain that it was an automatic message although it was signed by the staff name Veronica. I asked again if there’s a room I can upgrade to the staff replied “I don’t think so” with laughter in her tone. Not great service. This is one of the few review or possibly the first time I ever write a negative feedback and I travel and stay in hotels quite a lot. Only staff were great are in the breakfast shift. "

"It was clean. The cleaning staff and rooftop staff were great. Breakfast and spa were nice. Checking in was awkward. The woman who checked us in wasn’t very friendly. There was no VIP perk even though I was instructed to ask for it. Which I did with no reply. The hotel is nice. The area is so-so."

"Sercotel is in a good location, for us it was important that a hotel was a walking distance to some tourist attractions as well as not that far from the airport. The room itself is clean and the staffs are excellent, friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delicious and the staff who's always there makes sure everyone is attended to and checks the food/coffee stations. Overall stay is wonderful!"
