"The facilities were dated, which I knew going in. But I wasn’t prepared for the level of decline: none of the restaurants/bars were open (permanently, it seems), the front desk was hardly staffed, the lobby wasn’t an inviting place to spend time. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the onsen (hot spring bath). But no meals was unexpected & a bit inconvenient. "We really enjoyed our stay and the hospitality. The Breakfast and Dinner were amazing. The newly renovated room is also very nice. The older japanese room is very big and good for big family, but slightly further from the lobby. "
