"The first colony Inn had a nice ambience, the breakfast was good and staff was helpful and friendly. The facility is dated, but it had a nice character. The only I guess you could say complaints I had was that there was still sand in the tub in our room and the carpeted floors could use a really good cleaning. Otherwise It was a nice time and quiet place. I would go back again."

"For an older hotel that has been kept up, this stay was surprisingly pleasant. I would give 4 stars for the convenience of location and cleanliness of the room. The beds were super comfy and it had a nice size refrigerator in the room. The only issue I would say is that they need to add hairdryers to the rooms. Most hotels carry those and I never bring one anymore so I was caught off guard. I didn't ask about one though."
