"The stairs and deck going over the sand dune are a mess. The handicap ramp has at least six inches of sand on the turns and the stairs down to the beach are almost totally covered with sand. The deck at the top has two orange cones because there is a hole in the deck. "pet area needs to be lighted.It was totally dark except for 1 small solar light. Also the removal of pet waste was not upheld by many. Due to pet area being so dark, I had to report to the desk staff of a peeping tom. I also found that the cost of $10.95 per person for a buffet breakfast with powdered eggs and over cooked french toast was excessive."

"First time at a B&B. Bill and Veda set the bar really high for other B&Bs we will visit. Cypress House was charming, clean and so welcoming. It was exactly what we were looking for when we planned this little vacation. Breakfast was great every day. Bill and Veda answered all our questions and request. "I have stayed here many times in the past and always enjoyed the experience. However, this past trip, we returned from an all day offshore fishing trip to find our room door wide open. Unsettling to say the least (fortunately nothing was missing from the room). After looking around, it seemed like the housekeeper finished half of their duties and walked out (i.e., the beds were made and towels replaced but trash remained on the coffee maker counter, nothing was wiped off and amenities were not...

"It was perfect for a one-night stay. The room was spacious, beds comfortable, kitchenette practical, and the access to the beach was great- private and through a separate back door. There were some used (? cleaning) towels over the trash can in the kitchen area. Would go back again."

"Clean property and central location. Good amenities/outside shower, breakfast, and parking. The staff was wonderful. I only wish there was a beach view (dune views only). The walk to the beach/over the dune may be tough for elderly or people with accessibility needs. Otherwise, very nice, would stay again."

"Our room had pretty textured walls and beautiful artwork. The furnishings were also high quality. Its a 3 minute walk to the beach, and within a few minutes drive of a mini-mart, ice cream place, and some restaurants. I couldn't figure out when checkout time was, but another guest told me 11am. Also the doors have # codes on them so you can check in without seeing anyone. But the insides of the doors don't have slide locks, so we were worried about someone being able to enter if they found out...
