"The host was very welcoming and immediately made me feel at home. Breakfast had lots of choices for different appetites. My room was lovely with a fan for the heat, plenty of tea, coffee, etc. and a powerful shower. All in all a great place to visit."

"Room and all areas of hotel were very clean, bed very comfortable and beautiful location by the river in a quiet area. Room had everything you’d need. The hotel and room in particular does need a little TLC. Furniture old and worn, carpet in room needed replacing and walls could do with a new lick of paint. Grounds have seen better days but have a lot of potential."

"The gym was exceptional for a spa hotel and the breakfast was very pleasant however we did find that the hotel itself was quite dated and the rooms were in need of a bit of updating. The bathroom especially could use some modernization."

"Only one towel for the room, stairs with no elevator option. No air conditioning available. Provided fan didn’t actually work. Bathroom sink was broken. Toilet flush mechanism worked every 3rd flush. People next door were smoking and the smoke was coming into our window. And to top it off, I got food poisoning from the attached restaurant. Avoid this place at all costs. Only thing good was the hotel staff."
