"Bologna is not a car-friendly city, so this place was one of the very few that allowed us to reserve a secure parking place for our 2 night stay. This gave us A LOT OF PEACE OF MIND while we ventured around town.
We also appreciated that the buffet breakfast has plenty of protein-rich options (not just the croissant & capuchino that is typical).
The restaurant recommendations by the staff were great, BUT they are tiny places with italian hours (closed between 3 and 7 pm), so DON'T forget to...

"An okay stay however if any issues, the receptionist are somewhat unbothered and only willing to help when convenient for them. Breakfast is quite the let down with minimal options. The hotel although given a 4 star does not operate as one. At best it is a 3 star hotel but given the pricing relative to other hotels in Bologna, I guess it’s okay"

"Not for travelers over 50! It's just not up to adult standards. It caters to the young. The rooms are like dormitories! Just warning you that you may encounter; no towels in your bathroom, (the toilet is on one side of the room and the shower is on the other side of the room), doorknobs falling off, no one to answer the phone when you call downstairs, etc. Oh, and they don't take cash anywhere in the hotel so you have to pay credit card fees when your next statement arrives. Book somewhere...

Continua a mantenere un buon livello per la comodità delle camere, la tranquillità della zona, la possibilità di parcheggio, e la colazione, continentale, standard senza fronzoli (le uova strapazzate ci vorrebbero però!) e ad un buon prezzo.

"Wir waren während unserer Flitterwochen im Il Guercino und waren sehr angetan vom Hotel, dass sehr geschmackvoll und künstlerisch eingerichtet ist. Die Suite war sehr großzügig mit Whirlwanne und großer Dusche, das Frühstück sehr lecker. Das Zimmer ruhig.
Wir hatten glücklicherweise das Hotel vorab wegen Parkplatz kontaktiert, was vor Ort Gold wert war, da es nur sehr wenige Parkmöglichkeiten gibt.
Lage des Hotels ist gut, vor allem gut erreichbar. Gleich vor der Tür finden sich zwei...

"La camera bella e pulita, si trova al sesto piano, c'è anche un balconcino con sedie e tavolino. Conviene chiamare prima dell'arrivo per avere le istruzioni per accesso al portone e poi alla camera. L'unica cosa si avvertiva un leggero cattivo odore entrando nella stanza. In circa 20 minuti a piedi si raggiunge il centro. Parcheggio difronte al palazzo, 2,20 all'ora, dalle 8 alle 18, oppure 11 euro tutto il giorno. Colazione si fa presso un bar vicino. "
