"Very neat pool, staff were friendly, perfect location. The pool scum build up was a bit off putting on the pool tiles, and we did have a brown liquid that started dripping from the bathroom exhaust fan on the morning of our departure. Staff seemed genuinely apologetic and like they would try to remedy what we experienced promptly."

"Overall had a good experience although we had a rough check in. The Staff member that helped us was speaking so quietly that nobody could hear him and then he got mad when I had to ask what he’d said. It was a very rude interaction. Other than that and some noise outside our room at night, everything was good. Room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, pool was great, breakfast was good. Hope the front desk staff can get better training. "

"Sadly, Sorel is too expensive for what it is. It's obvious it used to be amazing but it's in need of a maintenance team and general refreshing. The rooms are clean but old. The hotel is seriously understaffed (one poor waiter in the restaurant) and the front desk staff is hit or miss. There are lightbulbs out all around the property and everything needs a fresh coat of paint. The daily expeditions, scenery and location of the hotel are great and why I'm giving the hotel 4 stars instead of 3. We did the Canyonlands tour, UTV tour and horseback riding. All of the staff running those activities were fantastic and are working hard. We didn't receive any services from the spa and can't speak to that. "
