"Our stay at Hillcrest Mansion was a 4 star experience in every conceivable way. This magnificent house has been meticulously restored. From the gorgeous period antiques to the dinnerware, every element is in pristine condition. But there’s nothing antique about the amenities, From the beautifully appointed, updated bathrooms to a jaw dropping gourmet breakfast, this was our most enjoyable — and indulgent— stay at a bed and breakfast. The owner (Martha) is a warm and gracious host and as an added bonus, you get her charming and entertaining parents. Highly recommend!"

"From the time we arrived the staff were very accommodating and happy to assist. The standard king bedroom was better than expected, so no need to upgrade. Each night we tried a different restaurant and the food was incredible. The day spa pass was worth it! Thanks to all the staff who made our anniversary extra special. We will definitely return."

"Hello, Stayed 2 nights in the compact full room upstairs. It is newly renovated and I was the 1st guest. There was plenty of room for me to move around comfortably. The lighting was sufficient and the window provided enough natural light. There were sufficient number of hangers. Bed was firm and comfortable and the comforter was very warm on the 1st night and just right on the 2nd night when it was colder. There was a extra heavier blanket that was good for the 1st night. The bathroom is on the smaller side and is as shown in the photos. It is enough to use it for what it is needed for. Plenty of hot water and towels. The room opened to the outdoor patio which has a nice view and would have made for a good spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee...if it was not as cold and rainy. There were other guests in the inn but it was quite and only saw them during breakfast. Breakfast was...bagels, english muffin, fruits, yougurt, oatmeal packets etc.. enough for a good start in the morning and the coffee and tea are available through out the day. The narrower stairs to the upstairs room are not a problem with smaller luggage and there is plenty of light through out the house. There are books and puzzles if you don't want to watch TV or be outside. The wi-fi was good and was needed as the cell service was choppy. It was wonderful to wake up listening to the birds in the morning. The host is very responsive. This is a wonderful place to stay among nature."

"I was not given the WiFi code, got it from the cleaning woman’s daughter, the tub did not have a stopper? I couldn’t darken the tv screen. No one answered the local phone on Sunday. Or sat night."
