"We arrived at hotel a few hours before check in and I was not informed by reception that the spa was being closed early at 4.30pm due to maintenance work. When we checked in at 3pm we were then informed by a different member of staff the spa facilities were being closed early at 5pm, the spa actually closed at 4.30pm. "The room was really spacious and clean. It was a little bit old as the carpet was a bit worn in places which was a shame. The pool area was nice and was well maintained. The breakfast was regularly stocked which was a bonus as some hotels are very slow at refreshing the breakfast! All in all, a nice hotel on beautiful grounds. Would stay again"

"Parking very easy till we booked in and were asked to pay £14, this was not mentioned on the hotel advert with Expedia nor on the email confirming the booking. After some debate with reception the guy borrowed our phone to show us where it was, not under this hotel but scrolled down another half dozen pages and showed us it the parking charges in the general terms and conditions, while scrolling saw the booking charge had dropped by £20, so suggested they took the parking charge out of this,...
