Top New Forest District Hotel Reviews

Moorhill House Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Such a great place. Staff so friendly and kind. You feel very welcome there"

Balmer Lawn Hotel

8/10 Good

"Title: Lovely Hotel, but Overpriced Entry-Level Room We stayed at the Balmer Lawn Hotel for a work event. The hotel public areas are beautiful, the food was good, and providing a breakfast sausage for our dog was a really sweet touch. However, £177 felt steep for a budget room with a view of a brick wall (you'd have to stand on one leg and hang out the window to see the New Forest!). A £30 nightly dog fee also felt excessive. We didn't get to use the spa, but overall it’s a nice venue—just disappointing on room value and pet charges."

Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"This was our second visit to Chewton Glen & our stay was as good as the first. We had lunch in the bar which was excellent looking out over the croquet lawn. Dinner in the dining room also excellent & breakfast also taken in the dining room. Excellent food & wine served by attentive friendly staff. Spa facilities also excellent. Can’t wait to return!"

Passford House Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"A wonderfully restful couple of days. The hotel is very comfortable and friendly and the staff were exceptional. The hotel is a little old fashioned in the nicest way which all helps with the comfort and ambience ~ you can't help feeling relaxed. Excellent breakfasts, delicious dinners and reasonable prices. I hope we will visit again."

Huntsman of Brockenhurst

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely place in the heart of the forest, would recomend the Pub to eat, great breakfast, hosts were a great couple nothing was to much trouble 10++++++++++A must place to stay,we will return! With in walking distance of train bus station etc etc.10+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++."

Forest Lodge Hotel, BW Signature Collection

10/10 Excellent

"Room was clean, but there was no room service for example, no bed making (which is not a problem) no emptying of bins and no replacement of toilet rolls. The stair carpet was worn in places. For the price we paid for 3 nights it was expensive. A nice choice of breakfast continental or cooked, (you had to pay extra for this) Staff were friendly and parking okay."
