"It was difficult to get into the room with two tricky combination locks. You can't watch any TV unless you know your streaming service passwords, no free TV. The coffee machine was plugged in but we couldn't figure out how to work it (no instructions available to read). The mattress was excellent and we slept well. Some might not like the train horns, but we didn't mind."

"This is a lovely home and it was a peaceful and restful stay. The Proprietor was a lovely gentleman, and his coffee and breakfast was outstanding."

"The rooms are large. Everything was very clean. The breakfast has fresh fruit and a variety of baked goods. Very interesting place. We would come back. "

"I get to the hotel and no one is at the desk. They left a note to call Michele. She states the hotel was understaffed. She gave me my room code by phone. Later the rep at the desk showed up and gave me my key card to the room. The room was smelling like cigarettes. I wouldn’t pick this hotel again."

"The room was freezing cold for about a half hour when we got there but the heater worked well and eventually it warmed up. Room was large and clean. Parking was right in front of room. Wish the room had a full length mirror. People travel when they have an event to go to and we like to see how we look. The bathroom mirror sort of tilts down for a bit of an outfit check but a full length would have been great. Bed was comfortable and bedding was really nice! Guy who runs the place was very nice!...

"Bob the inn keeper was kind welcoming and helpful. The property was immaculate and a great space. A 5 minute drive to downtown. Highly recommend!"

"Breakfast was excellent and staff were helpful. Pool room was heated nicely but pool water itself was cold. Bathtub/shower needs grab bar and/or safety strips to prevent falls."

"When we arrived we found out the elevator wasn't working and I suffer from a blood disorder so I hurt and can't walk far. I had no choice to walk up 2 flight of stairs. I was looking forward to the hot tub but the jets wasn't working properly and I was looking forward to getting a good soak"

"This is actually a beautiful building. The rooms of especially the bathrooms that they are advertising with Jacuzzi tubs are extremely overdue for renovation. There is paint and tile chipping all over the place in the bathroom and Jacuzzi tub. The sheets had those are yellow stains on them if you know what I’m talking about it looks good from the outside. It’s a different world on the inside."

"Very nicely kept and clean property and very clean room. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Only thing I found was, they need new towels. Staff was very nice and courteous and breakfast was good. More like continental breakfast but they also had freshly made waffles you can make yourself. No pool. Right next door to a great Diner I84. All and all rating at least 4.5 stars. Would stay again if necessary."
