"Family trip with 3 kids and we love it"

"A small room but a great location. Bed was comfortable and A/C worked well. A little noisy, since the rooms are close to each other. Can be a bit of a challenge to find the room we were staying in. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and the room was clean."

"It was a busy time at the hotel but each interaction I had with staff was lovely. I don’t do breakfast but would head down in the morning for fresh coffee and it was well managed, other guests seemed to enjoy it. Room was clean - although a bit funky smelling. I think it’s the deodorizer they used. Parking onsite and free. Gotta love that. Was only 15-20 minutes from Cornwall (my focus) so that was convenient. I’d probably stay in Newburgh or Beacon next trip. Not much to do around the hotel."

While the room was clean, the basic amenities were poor - a lamp that once turned on, couldn't be turned off all night. "I found a mysterious yellow pill on the floor of our hotel room, where my two babies were staying with me and my husband. The hotel knew that I was traveling with babies, as I called 5x to make sure we were all set with their crib beds and early check in. I am extremely disappointed that our safety was not taken into consideration when cleaning the rooms for children. We could have ended up in the ER, but thank god I found the pill. "First of all the ad is deceiving that there is a fitness gym and pool when in fact these are not opened and in active working condition. Second, when I got to my room there were just lot of missing things and items such as chair for the table, ironing board, ice bucket, microwave. And the following day when I came back from work, my contact lens case is missing. I reported it to the front desk staff immediately and the following day they said that the housekeeper didn’t see any contact lense...

"The property is very old and dingy. I found the rugs to be dirty and the bathroom was moldy around the tub and shower. The TV only worked partially continuing to go in and out. I requested to change rooms and they did accommodate me to a better room. More than likely it is my last time at the hotel, even though it is very close to where I want to be."
