Hotel Riu Palace Paradise Island - Adults Only - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Everything was beautiful except the beachfront was too crowded"

Margaritaville Beach Resort - Nassau
4/10 Poor
"Overall, the resort itself was excellent, and I had a great experience during my stay. However, my experience outside the resort was much less enjoyable. Food in the surrounding area was quite expensive, especially when dining with a larger group. As a party of six, we occasionally felt unwelcome at some restaurants. It’s also important to note that many establishments automatically include gratuity and VAT on the bill. Some locations may add additional fees, such as a “beach cleaning” charge, which can often be removed upon request. For dining, I highly recommend Joey’s at Fish Fry. It was by far the best meal I had during my trip to the Bahamas. Unfortunately, I only discovered it on my last day and wish I had found it sooner. When using taxis, don’t hesitate to negotiate fares. Many drivers set their own prices, and there are usually plenty of taxis available in the area, giving you options. For excursions, I would suggest focusing on the swimming with pigs experience. The private beach included with many tours already offers excellent snorkeling opportunities, with plenty of fish, crabs, and even lionfish to see at no additional cost. Purchasing a pair of goggles for around $15 is all you really need to enjoy the marine life. Despite some challenges outside the resort, the overall trip was memorable, and with a little planning, future visitors can avoid some of the common surprises."

The Reef at Atlantis
10/10 Excellent
"The property was wonderful. My family and I had a great time."

Comfort Suites Paradise Island
2/10 Terrible
"Where do I start...Room #212 smells HORRIBLE! I complained to the manager on duty and she stated there wasn't a smell but she would have some type of spray that would help, never helped! Our friends said that it smelled like it was behind the walls, ironically the Damp commercial came on every other commercial! My husband opened the cabinet next to the fridge and it smelled like DEATH which made it worse, so we made sure not to open that ever again. While taking showers, the bathtub never drained which grossed us out. The rooms need to be updated, they are from the late 80's. The side of the box spring mattress was stained so we were scared to look at the rest of the mattress. If we sat on the end of the bed, it made a loud sound and sort of sunk in. Our sliding door didn't open, like it was off track. Breakfast was grits, eggs, meat, fruit, breads EVERYDAY except the one day there was potatoes instead of grits. Grits were the only thing that saved me. We were given a $50 credit to eat/drink with but weren't given details so we tried to use at The Royal Delicatessen and were denied. Then we tried it at Poseidon's Table and again denied to where it was embarrassing! Staff did provide 2 small bottles of water daily so I guess that was a perk?! The only thing that got me through the week was telling ourselves that we were only there to sleep which was hard because every time we opened that door, it was hard!"

Courtyard by Marriott Nassau Downtown/Junkanoo Beach

The Royal at Atlantis
8/10 Good
"The Royal Tower has the most updated rooms. But there is no kitchenette or microwave which is a nice convenience for the Reef tower. If you want to save money by cooking and heating up leftovers, I would recommend Reef over Royal. The pros to the Royal tower is it’s central to Atlantis, and you don’t need to take shuttles; everything is walkable. Ocean view rooms are amazing! We were in 15-522 and the view is breath taking. You have a perfect view of the ocean and the resort, you can see predator lagoon and mantas and sharks swimming from your room. And the staff are slightly nicer and a little more flexible when entering the hotel with wet swimsuit attire on. The access to the water park is right at your door step vs other towers (Reef, Coral, Cove). If you are traveling with kids or teens, I would recommend Royal Tower and a room with ocean view if budget is not a concern."

Grand Hyatt Baha Mar
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay with our 2 year old"

Sandyport Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Our Vacation was amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the establishment is incredibly clean."

The Coral at Atlantis
8/10 Good
"We enjoyed our first visit to Atlantis Coral and had a wonderful overall experience. The staff and local people were very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Our room had a spectacular water view that truly made the trip feel special. There were, however, a few areas that could use improvement. The room door was extremely stiff and difficult to both open and close, which was frustrating at times. Additionally, the in-room dining experience was disappointing, as the food quality did not meet expectations. Overall, despite a few inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the beautiful surroundings and hospitality."
