"We stayed at the sure stay 4 nights while we explored the New River Gorge and Monongahela forest. Location was about 30 mins or so from the gorge, but a lot of close by state parks and beautiful scenery to access easily. Hotel is right by the beautiful Summersville lake as well. Hotel is small, quaint. A little outdated on the outside. But the rooms were nice and clean. We stayed in the king size bed room and bed was super comfy and offered a good night's sleep. "It was a place to sleep for the night. Very outdated, needed a lot of upgrades and our room was in a separate building from the main hotel. The breakfast was not great. Staff was very friendly."

"Friendly, inviting, clean, and comfortable. Unfortunately, there were some safety concerns that we hadn't experienced before. Our stay was perfectly fine, but the concerns were prevalent."

"If you like being surrounded by nature (forest, lake) then this is a good place to spend a night or two. Overall is a good stay but don't expect any type of luxury or latest modern room amenities. Parking lot pavement needs some repairs. Staff was nice and amenable."
