"I'm rating a 4 rather than a 5 like I did last visit. There was confusion regarding my reservation room type and amount charged that could have been handled with much better hospitality for returning guest who needs a first floor, accessible room without requiring an upcharge.
It was 45 minutes trying to correct things with Hotels.com and I wound up paying it anyway just to get checked in and begin to relax after a long, hot day. Only to find the pool too cold for myself and 3 other guests to use. No towels are available poolside which is atypical.
The shower curtain was very sour which should have been noticed/changed by housekeeping. The coffee maker didn't work. But thankfully the ice machine did.
Breakfast is minimal, which was OK when they were busy during the parking lot resurfacing, but there's been time for improvements and nothing unusual was happening this stay.
Thought I had found my go-to stop in Barstow but maybe not. We'll see how fairly the refund process goes for the illegal upcharge."
"Continental breakfast was much appreciated for early work days. Rooms where ok and clean however did find a "friend" in the bathroom. Only thing missing for hot days are a swimming pool"
"This was a delightful stay on our road trip. All was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was more than ample. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Nicole even helped me clean my road-dirty eyeglasses! A very nice stay!"
"Check in was wonderful and she was super friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and so was the property. Definitely worth the extra money for our labradoodle to stay here with us. "

"The room was clean and comfortable. They have a good breakfast layout and the food was very good. I had some trouble with my room key, They reprogramed it twice. The location was great for me."
