"This place is such a gem! We spent one night there before our flight. It’s like you’re in the countryside. Beautiful grounds! We loved using the sauna and indoor pool and we had an incredible dinner onsite. The staff was great! I highly recommend it!"

"Our flight was delayed by more than 2hrs, what was supposed to be a late night check-in, ended up being an early morning check-in. Front desk staff assured us of non-cancellation. Upon arrival, we were greeted promptly and got checked-in without any delay. Welcome gift in the room was a happy surprise and really made our day. Room was dated, yet clean, comfy and quiet. "The free airport shuttle made easy access to the Edinburgh airport. The hotel was clean and lovely. The hall carpeting was a little dated and a musty smell to the hallway. But the room was clean spacious and comfortable. "

Our 2 dogs were made so welcome and our dining experience wasn’t reduced in any way because of them. Harriet should get a mention as nothing was too much trouble for her. "Lovely little hotel, great host, very friendly, clean and comfortable room, we chose this hotel because it was Pet Friendly and it didn’t disappoint, the only negative is no evening meals, but you can drive into Lanark 4 miles away where there’s a great choice, there’s also a small supermarket opposite. Apart from that we had a great stay and would definitely use again"
