"Excellent room, we had an executive suite and the view was marvellous as was the huge four poster bed. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best we've had, proper cumberland sausages - what can I say!. Staff were also excellent especially Joanne the manager who went above and beyond to make our 4 night stay very enjoyable. We had 2 meals in the hotel pub and again the food was of a very high standard, one meal was a sunday roast which I found absolutely superb. Will definitely stay here...

"Beautiful accommodation in a stunning setting. Breakfast was 5 star! Lots of choice and presented perfectly. Our double room was very clean with en suite and quality toiletries. Tea/coffee and biscuit were replenished daily. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, with lots of local advice - we couldn’t have chosen a better guest house for our Lake District break. "Car park was full in the evening so had to park in a lay-by nearby. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. We were in a top floor room with a very low ceiling that could do with some padding on the corners as it was a safety hazard."
