"The place is showing its age. Room was clean. Breakfast was pitiful. Boiled eggs and muffins. Yougurt and fruit."

"Grand logement bien situé à proximité du ferry. Cuisine bien équipée, cuisine et salle de bain propres. Chambre des maîtres: lit pas le plus confortable mais tout de même ok; beaucoup de bruit de la circulation automobile même avec les fenêtres fermées. Beaucoup de poussière sous les lits constatée lors du départ de notre séjour de 1 nuit. Réfrigérateur brisé mentionné à la réception, donc devrait normalement être réglé pour les prochaines réservations."

"The staff were friendly and well informed about the hotel and the community. The hotel is probably the oldest in Nanaimo, but has been updated to a high standard. It is perfectly situated for walking the downtown area, and surrounded by boutiques, coffee shops and the waterfront pier walkways A BIG 5 stars from my wife and me."

"Air conditioner was so loud I had to turn it off! Also dog hair on my sheets. It’s an older building with some updates in the bathroom. Other guests were very loud until just after midnight so not a good sleep."
