"Staff was incredibly helpful expect for a lady by the name of Thobile at front desk as well as her front desk manager , I asked for assistance to add another stay and they said they could but was very rude and not helpful at all ! Refused to give me an extra card and only wanted me to get me card for my second stay even though I said I was adding an extra person , after saying I was adding an extra person and she charged me she said she needed to charge again cause she didn’t hear me say I was...

"We found the service industry in South Africa to be one of the best of any place we have traveled and the hotel and staff did not disappoint. We were very pleased with everything. The Beach view was a bonus"

"Best place to stay in Durban, such a peaceful and calm environment."

"A small, intimate and immaculate establishment - like your own little villa! Not only was the breakfast (hot and cold) awesome, but it was the extra little touches that made an impression. For example: Although there was no restaurant for lunch & dinner, picnic tables, a microwave, plates, utensils and condiments were provided for guests' "bring-their-own-meal" use, little cookies daily with the in-room tea/coffee facilities, an honesty bar area, with an ice-maker, I could go on! "Great New find. Loved this little haven literally 5 mins walk from the beach through what felt like a door to a secret garden. Thank you."

"What a lovely hotel with most charming staff - Oyster Box nice but too much like Dubai (unless that's your vibe)"

"I had a lovely stay. Beautiful virw over the city from upper level Can highly recommend the spa"

"Tumi was a standout staff member. She really took such great care of us. She made sure to come say goodbye to us on our last breakfast. Everyone was so kind. The rooms were beautiful and new-looking. We had perfect ocean views from our balconies. Great food! Great location"

"Wonderful stay. Kind staff at breakfast and dinner, all were amazing. Check in had a few blips with the system picking up the wrong number of people and the wrong room but was quickly fixed. One point I would make is it’s incredibly difficult to find the hotels parking - no signposting meant we went into another much more expensive parking lot. I would definitely stay again, the staff and cleanliness make it a no brainer."

"One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Service impeccable. Views amazing. Rooms beautiful. A long but wonderful trip and stay."

"The rooms was nice and big."

"They had amazing bfast excellent staff and clean rooms but what I found baffling is that the hotel is not wheelchair friendly they have no ramps into the property just stairs"
