"To access the restroom the door must be open completely in then you have to go in to the farthest corner and only then you can close the door. The same is when you want to get out (110, 111)"
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Jonestown Lebanon Valley
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed for four nights and it was a very pleasant stay. Clean rooms, very nice staff - we had several families with teen boys in our group and the manager went above and beyond with us. Breakfast was decent, good variety. Definitely recommend Moose’s about a mile and a half down the road. A few fast food places and gas station directly in front of the hotel and a great creek that leads to a river behind it. I would definitely stay again."
"The room was clean and the hallways were well kept. I loved the refrigerator in the room that had an ample sized freezer. And I always appreciate when a bathroom has a fan (IYKYK). TONS of drawers and the window seat was a nice touch.
I couldn't say the same for the free breakfast. Mostly breads and sweets. There was juice and coffee and some type of machine that made pancakes or waffles or something. All located in the small lobby. We chose to go out for breakfast.
The staff was somewhat friendly once you engaged them in conversation. No "hello" or "good-bye" when coming or going. When we dropped off our keys, the staff member at the desk barely looked up at us. The bar/restaurant attached was a good place to go. Very friendly staff there."
"We had a fantastic stay at the Comfort Inn in Frackville! Check-in was super easy, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean and comfortable. But the bed deserves a special shout-out—it was by far the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in, and a couple of others in our group agreed. Great job on the beds!
The only negative during our stay was the local restaurant recommendation we received from the front desk. Unfortunately, it was an absolutely horrific dining experience—very slow service and terrible food. This certainly wasn’t a reflection of the hotel, but it might be worth encouraging staff to recommend restaurants they have personally experienced and feel confident recommending.
One small maintenance note: the elevator makes a very loud clunking noise, which may be worth having checked.
Overall, though, this was a fantastic stay for the value. We would definitely stay here again and recommend the Comfort Inn to others!"
"Have stayed here many times over the year, and though it is at essentially a truck stop, it is a gem. Highly recommend to anyone. I occasionally bring my daughter (5) and she loves the pool, and amenities. Breakfast is mediocre, but for the price, you can't beat it!"
