"We found the location very convenient. It’s within walking distance to train station, waterfront, and just about everything else. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and our room suited us very well. They also have a nice breakfast room with good food."

Maison Durante is a quiet oasis in a area of Nice. We particularly liked the bright, sunny room overlooking the pretty courtyard garden and the freshly cooked breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely return

Good- Location is perfect. Hamam room is real luxury. Less good- Service staff like access a bit early for me. Be aware No lifts so consider your fitness.

Hotel was in an excellent position, just a block back from Promenade des Anglais, near a couple of decent restaurants on the front and less than a mile from the old town. Staff were very welcoming and helpful with storing the luggage, advising honestly about places to go and how to get there. Breakfast (extra cost) was what we needed - cereals, cold meat and cheese, boiled eggs, some fruit and croissants etc. There's a supermarket over the road for anything else you need. Our room was excellent...

We booked our 6 night stay only a couple of weeks before departure. It was everything, and more, than we had expected. Super location with stunning views from our bedroom. The room and all amenities were spotlessly clean. The breakfast, although a little pricey, was just what we liked - as much fresh fruit, yoghurts, pastries, eggs, coffee etc as you liked. Our flight did not leave until late in the evening - we were able to leave our luggage in a secure room during the day - we were also...

Located a short walk from the beach and restaurants, on a busy main road so there is traffic noise but it is in heart of the City so not unexpected.
Room was spacious, clean with fresh towels and bedding each day. Aircon was efficient.
While there was a kettle with tea and coffee only one breakfast tea and fruit tea replenished each day, would have been nice to have a couple more. I am sure if we asked they would have been provided.
Staff very friendly, reception is small but how much time do...

The location was spot on, 7 mins walk to train station, ideal for Monte Carlo and Cannes. Or an 8mins walk to promenade where you can catch the number 98 to the airport.

Beautiful aparthotel in central Nice, very close to the old town. We walked everywhere, the beach is only a few roads away. There are loads of restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as a wide range of shops. The breakfast buffet was lovely, especially the beautiful pear tart! All the staff were very helpful, we had a great time and can't wait to be back!

A 5 night stay. Room was not large but was well set out and comfortable with full amenities including fridge and kettle. Room and bathroom modern and in excellent condition. Reception/breakfast area bright and airy. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Ideal location 1 block from sea-front and a short walk along a street full of shops and restaurants to the town centre.
Rooms at the rear would suit light sleepers as the road can be noisy at times. Would happily stay again

I really enjoyed our stay.
Hotel within minutes of the sea [promenade des Anglais],and many local attractions,in the old historical part of Nice.
Many good restaurants and shops nearby.
The Hotel was spotless and the staff really helpful and friendly.
Many thanks to them for a really enjoyable stay.
If/when I visit Nice again I will return to the Hotel and in the meantime recommend to my friends and associates.

Really enjoyed my stay at ibis Nice Centre Gare. I was travelling solo, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, which immediately made me feel at ease.
The location is excellent, especially for a solo traveller wanting to explore. Nice-Ville train station is just a couple of minutes away, making day trips along the Côte d’Azur incredibly easy. The Promenade des Anglais, seafront and central Nice are also within easy walking distance.

I stayed for four nights on my own in a double room and as several reviews stated, it was a small room and although it was sufficient for me, I can imagine that it would be a tight squeeze for a couple. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean and the bed was comfortable and warm. The receptionists were all particularly helpful and knowledgeable about the area, and they all spoke English very well. I ate breakfast on my first and last morning for an extra charge; it was sufficient for me...
