"The place was reasonable but at the price would expect better. Food was basic pub fare but was quick and hot. The room was average but cleaning let it down. Desk chair was covered in debris from outside where it must have been under some pine trees. Coffee cups after first night were not washed or replaced they were just left in bathroom half full of water but dirty. Sink was dirty from where cups had been rinsed."

"The hotel was very clean. All staff members that we were in contact were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with lots of options (eggs (scrambled and boiled), bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt (with toppings), cheeses, pastries, juice, and coffee. We enjoy staying here and will stay here again when we return. The location is great as well."

"It’s…fine. It is a stunning building as reflected in the exterior photos, and the downstairs interior has some beautiful rooms. That said - the more you look, the more you see signs that the property is well due for renovation.
The room itself was okay, but far from spectacular and clearly lacked attention to detail. The bed was comfortable and king size as advertised. However, while two king single size beds pushed together to make a full-size king is not uncommon, in this case the mattresses...

"Absolutely beautiful apartment. Great location across the street from the river for a nice stroll on the path by the river. It’s stocked with every possible amenity — even an espresso machine and ice maker. The kitchen is well stocked. The host is exceptionally responsive to any questions that may arise. Check in/out process was seamless. I would highly recommend for a 5-star experience."

"Our stay was perfect! Rooms were spacious, clean, and our accessible room was an excellent layout and perfectly functional. Breakfast was outstanding, afternoon tea in the library was excellent, the dinner menu was a bit limited, but what thay had was all delicious. Item of note is they do not have bell carts, and bell service is charged @£5 per bag.. Didn't use the service but was surprised given the exceptional service we found otherwise. Great base for our 3 nights..Highly recommend"
