"A beautiful historic hotel right across from Nikko Park making it easy to visit the shrines and temples. The hotel offers a shuttle from the train station to its property. "Alles prima!"

"The location was ideal with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff was so very helpful and considerate and the food was amazing! It was very convenient to the Kogen falls and other shops in town. Thank you for a wonderful visit while in Nikko."

"Room was very clean and cozy and exactly as pictured. Host was very friendly and communicative and had clear instructions in English. Would stay here again!"

"Wonderful stay! This hotel is a gem. The owners take great care of this property and make their guests feel welcome. We would love to stay here again."

"Very nice stay! The room was clean. Everyone we met who worked there was sooo sweet and helpful. Walked us around the hotel with a tour, and gave us a map with lots of recommendations to do around the area. Also has a private spa/onsen onsite, which was very nice"
