"The back door was unlocked, and it doesn't appear that it ever locks, despite the sign indicating that it is always locked. The bed was lumpy, but that could have been the mattress pad. I did not take a shower because there was something that appeared to be mold in the tub. While it could have just been a stain, it did not make me feel that it was safe to use. "Step out of franchise and discover a 1910 brick built structure that has all the charm and details of an Abbeville historical treasure. The clean room included a quilt covered bed that was comfortable, and the room included refrigerator and microwave. The best part was continental breakfast on a lovely veranda. The site is its original center of downtown, so don’t expect gardens…but I was sad to leave the over-stuffed wicker chair and resume my trip home."
