"It was disappointing to be charged a daily $10 parking fee. Did not see the print regarding the fee on the web site. Area hotels have no parking fees."

Best Western Adams Inn Quincy-Boston

"There is no pool (though AI said there was). Vending machines did not work BUT they were removed during our stay and being replaced (soon) with a new one. Breakfast was good but would love to see waffle machine to be added to it. Loved yogurt machine if I would not have to click on dispensing button all the time (each click makes the machine work for a sec only). I did not mind the beds like other guests in their reviews. The rooms supposed to be cleaned ones every 3 days but from day 3 to our last day (6 in total) they cleaned or at least made beds all days... probably a glitch in their system? We had a friedge in our room which was bonus as I did not expect one. The front desk is awesome: we got the room earlier of the check in time with no fuzz. The washer/dryer for guests charged $5 instead of $2 but the charge pending so we'd see. The dryer did not dry the cloth fully despite 50 min cycle. Adams Pub is a good addition in term of food though it separated from hotel venue (so you can't charge on the room). Loved Clam Chowder and Cobb Salad. Not as much their Chips and Fish. Do take a stroll alone the shores in both directions of the hotel - you'll find a few good spots you can enjoy the harbor view My main concern why I won't stay again: it is far enough from T station "North Quincy" so if you rely on public transportation walking distance plus lack of eating places nearby (not completely absent but they are just not healthy ones) is a significant factor for those 50+"

"The front desk staff were absolutely miserable, unhelpful, and unfriendly. I thought there would possibly be a difference between the night staff and morning staff, but that was not the case. This was extremely disappointing and we felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. We were also very excited to use the pool, it was heated and at a comfortable temperature but all of the sudden a giant red light started blinking in front of the pool maintenance room. This was alarming!!! Nothing was mentioned to us as to why this was occurring. Next thing we know, an extremely potent smell of chemicals filled the room and our eyes were burning and watering non stop. Again, the people who were working in the pool room saw us yet still did not say a word on what was happening. We felt unsafe and concerned for our health. As we got back to our room, we began coughing, skin was burning, and eyes were continuing to water and burn. We will not be returning and are extremely disappointed with this Hilton, especially for the price of $354 for a one night stay."
