Top Norfolk Hotel Reviews

Wayford Bridge Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Upon check in it was apparent it was under new management/ownership, the changes are still in process but did not impede on my stay. The room was delightful, spacious, clean and exactly what was described. Staff were helpful, cheerful and a pleasure. Dinner was delicious and wine choices good, Breakfast was perfect. with really good coffee."

The Pheasant Hotel, Holt, Norfolk
10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely 3 days in the ‘Keepers Hut’ being off grid ( no internet in the hut) it was beautifully decorated, cosy comfortable bed, with a luxurious roll top bath and powerful shower. We were given a fan as the weather was extra hot which was helpful. The hotel breakfast and dinner were both excellent, as were the staff and dining areas. We enjoyed it so much, we have booked to come back."

St Giles House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel and its bar and restaurant all have an Irish flavour. Our welcome was friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, although the ancient wardrobe's lock needed understanding. We did have some trouble with the shower doors. Breakfasts were excellent. The croissants were top=class. We decided to eat our evening meals in the restaurant and can report that the menu was varied and the food and service top quality."

St George Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"clean comfortable room close to all amenities. Had a family room really enjoyed our stay highly recommended"

Sprowston Manor Hotel, Spa & Golf
6/10 Okay
"The public areas of the hotel are well maintained, however, the family room that we stayed in had mould on the windows and filthy net curtains. My daughter and I cleaned the bottom of the windows in order to open them to let in some fresh air. The general appearance of the room was very tired and worn, but the beds were clean. The service was generally quite slow especially in the dining room and bar. The pool areas were generally clean, but again looked in need of a bit of updating. Pool side furniture was rather worn and tired. The amenities were good and the general appearance is fine. We would go again, but possibly request a better/different room? The position of the property is great, close to Norwich and the Norfolk Broads."

The Cliff Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We have stayed before and it was another lovely stay, good food, drink and atmosphere. The staff are all excellent and the breakfast is delicious, the location is great too. There were just a few small details that could be improved, nothing that impacted the stay but a little attention to detail needed. Little bits of tidying up, like our tv lead wasn't quite fitted properly with wire hanging down from behind it and we couldn't get all the channels. The very helpful night porter did try but couldn't quite get it to work fully. I had to get on a chair and hook the end of the curtain back up as it had come off. As I said they were very minor things and we will definitely be back."

Dunston Hall Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort
6/10 Okay
"I thought the room was in need of updating, looks pretty tired. Shower wasn’t working properly, neither was the sink tap, hardly any pressure in the water! Literally a dribble coming from both! Tv very old fashioned! The grounds are very nice, but for the money don’t think it offers good value"

Dragonfly Hotel King's Lynn
6/10 Okay
"Hotel very tired looking no kerb appeal. We were greeted on arrival by someone that looked like to cleaner (no front office uniform). We were told they were working on skeleton staff!! I have worked for well known 4* hotel group for the last 20 years prior to retirement so my expectations are quote high! Bedroom very basic, bed comfortable, room facilities ok. Only space for hanging a few clothes, no drawers. Bar was ok. We only had breakfast there which again was adequate but not the standard I would have expected from a 3* hotel. Photos are very misleading. Didn't spoil our weekend but would seriously think before I stay again."

The Dukes Head Hotel
8/10 Good
"Hotel ok, some parts need maintenance, breakfast not special, room was ok, bed comfy, good shower, receptionists very helpful, but hotel in good position for local amenities."
